Specifically, we all face daily tasks and/or assignments that are urgent and must be completed. This in essence is our “maintenance” role, and our responsibility within the firm to get current work done and meet our accountability to current cash flow. At the same time, throughout the year we will be asked to think about what could be done, how we can improve our client services and better position the firm in our community. We will also pursue personal development initiatives that equip us to assume greater responsibility or more complex tasks. This in essence is our “advancement” role, and our responsibility within the firm to develop our overall potential and create value for the future. |
